We decided to start this site to raise awareness and advocate for cats with Feline Diabetes, behavior issues, and ALL special needs kitties! We are also passionate about supporting and raising awareness for the rights of feral cats to live happy lives, too. And we STRONGLY advocate for spaying and neutering pets and feral cats like.

We all have souls. And God sent us to our Mommy Kitten for a reason. We want to share our experiences to show that no behavior or condition is too hopeless or “too far gone” that a cat should EVER lose his or her forever home.
And, Mommy Kitten wants to share the laughs and fun around here.

I am 48, divorced, and have had such a horrendous dating life post-divorce that I’ve decided to fill my life with cats instead! Actually, the way I saw it was that God kept sending me cats with special needs. Cats who, unfortunately, typically end up in shelters.
Serving Her Majesty, Fluffy, breakfast on her heating pad.
But I don’t give up. EVER. Especially on a living being with a soul. And ESPECIALLY especially when that living being is a cat. I cannot watch cats with feline diabetes being dumped in shelters or euthanized needlessly any more. I cannot stand watching somebody dump a cat off at a shelter for a behavior issue that can easily be fixed by enriching the cat’s life at home. I cannot sit back and watch certain groups like PETA and the Audubon Society advocate for killing homeless cats, often cats who are not really “feral” but those who once had a home and were dumped off, when there’s a better, more humane solution, especially since the feral cat problem was created by irresponsible humans.
We broke it, so we must fix it.
I am one of the LOUD voices for those who have none. My hope is that this blog makes a HUGE difference in the world. At the very least, if our stories and experiences save just ONE cat from being dropped off at a shelter, our job is done. But we’d like to help THOUSANDS OR MORE cats from that fate…and we hope to share a few laughs along the way!
